Following on from what was a very successful MXGP 2019, Maxxis sponsored riders and MaxxCross tyres continued to prove themselves across all championships, with a total of 4 Championship Medals, 19 Race Wins, 30 Podium finishes and over 100 Top 10 finishes.
Maxxis EMX125 Champion Again
For the second consecutive year, the MaxxCross range won the European 125cc Motocross Championship with Andrea Bonacorsi of Fantic Motor factory team after the title win in 2019 with Mattia Guadagnini.
Maxxis EMX250 Vice-Champion
The former European MX125 champion Mattia Guadagnini of Husqvarna Junior Maddii Racing made his debut in the EMX250 this year and despite being new to the category, he conquered the championship standings and won 2nd place in the European 250cc Motocross Championship.
Silver & Bronze In EMX2T
Maxxis MaxxCross tyres claimed the silver and bronze EMX2T championship medals in the overall standings with Federico Tuani from Husqvarna Junior Maddii Racing and Kade Tinkler-Walker.
The Maxxis MaxxCross range dominated the European 2T Motocross Championship with three podium positions in the last round. Not only did Nicholas Lapucci of Fantic Racing win the last EMX2T round following victory in both heats, but the latest motocross tyres also claimed the silver and bronze medals in qualifying with Federico Tuani from Husqvarna Junior Maddii Racing and Kade Tinkler-Walker.
Youngster Cup 2020 Champion
In the German ADAC MX Masters Tensfeld Championship, Maximilian Spies from Team Maddi Racing won the YoungMaster ADAC 2020 title. Another win for Maxxis MaxxCross tyres in the European championships.
The 2020 season has been another excellent showcase of the quality of both MaxxCross MX-ST intermediate tyres and the new MX-SM sand tyres.
