With victories and championships punctuating the story of the BDC, Maxxis is proud to sponsor one of the UKs most successful drift teams, as Maxxis International managing director Derek McMartin confirms: “This will be the fifth year that we have sponsored Team Japspeed, and we have seen some fantastic results since the partnership started. Having some of the best drivers in the UK means that we are able to push our tyres to their very limits, whilst continuing to develop our range and ensure that we provide the drivers with the best tyre possible. We are extremely proud to sponsor one of the UKs most successful drift teams and look forward to continued success in the future.”

Team Japspeed currently uses the Maxxis Ultra High Performance MAZ1 Drift tyre, which has helped to gain the Championship title in 2009 and 2012, the Team Constructors Champions title in 2011 and 2012 and the Annual Team Event Champions title in 2012.
