Maxxis was one of only 22 of Subaru of Indiana’s (SIA) nearly 260 suppliers to receive an award during SIA’s Supplier Conference in Indianapolis last week.
In recognition of its meeting SIA’s standards for quality, safety, cost, and delivery, the company presented Maxxis with one of its Excellent Performance Supplier Awards. Other suppliers recognized in the category include 3M and BASF Catalysts.
Maxxis, which has been an SIA supplier since 2014, supplies original equipment tires for the Subaru Outback and Impreza, and will begin supplying tires for the Ascent later this year.
“The suppliers we have recognized should take pride in knowing they are part of an exclusive group that is performing at a very high level,” said SIA Senior Vice President Scott Brand.
Maxxis Manager of Business Development Maya Negishi said that Maxxis is honored to receive this award: “To be recognized by SIA is very gratifying for everyone at Maxxis, and we’re deeply appreciative.
