Human Resources Manager (Brampton, Ontario)

Maxxis Canada, a leader in the high-performance tire industry, has an exciting opportunity for a Human Resources Manager in Brampton, Ontario. Progressive company growth has resulted in an immediate need for an HR Manager to work with our management team and oversee all aspects of human resources management. This is an excellent opportunity for an energetic self-starter who has a passion for developing and engaging employees and can proactively develop human resources programs to effectively meet the needs of a changing organization.

Responsibilities include:

  • Lead human resources initiatives to ensure business strategies and priorities are achieved across the company
  • Attract and retain top talent by managing full cycle recruitment and talent development/management programs
  • Develop, implement and evaluate human resources and safety policies, programs, processes, and procedures
  • Manage workplace safety programs and compliance including workplace investigations, hazard identification, safety training, workers’ compensation and return to work initiatives
  • Manage and develop human resources staff

 

Key Competencies:

  • Knowledge of the Occupational Health & Safety Act, Employment Standards Act, Pay Equity Act, and other employment laws
  • Skill in developing and implementing human resources programs
  • Skill in developing and writing policies and procedures
  • Ability to provide expertise on matters relating to employee relations, talent management, organizational development, and employment law
  • Ability to provide leadership and support for supervisors and employees
  • Ability to effectively communicate, both verbally and in writing

 

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business, Psychology or a related field required
  • Five or more years of progressive human resources experience in a leadership or senior role required
  • Experience developing and/or implementing human resources and/or safety programs required
  • Certified Human Resources Professional (CHRP) designation preferred
  • Experience working in a warehouse environment preferred

Sales Coordinator - Auto (Suwanee, GA)

Maxxis International USA has a challenging opportunity for a Sales Coordinator to provide customer service and sales support to our valuable customers for our Automotive Tire Division located in Suwanee, Georgia.

Responsibilities:

  • Support business and relationships with current accounts
  • Enter customer orders in SAP system
  • Run reports to evaluate orders and provide forecasts
  • Track orders through SAP system
  • Work closely with outside sales team

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree OR 2 years of experience in the automotive industry required
  • Experience working with passenger/light truck tire products preferred

The Sales Coordinator must have excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, strong analytical skills, and be proficient in Microsoft Office. The flexibility to work well in an office as an individual and as a team is paramount.

Outside Sales Representative - Auto (Suwanee, GA)

Grow with our expanding organization. Maxxis International, the U.S. division of a global tire manufacturer headquartered in Suwanee, GA, has challenging opportunities for Outside Sales Representatives in our Automotive Tire Division.

Maxxis sales reps are self-motivated sales professionals with strong relationship building skills who aggressively grow our revenues in new markets as well as maintain our current customer base. Consistently identify revenue opportunities and follow-up on leads. Develop business plans for assigned accounts and manage projects. Ensure reporting, procedures, and communication levels are maintained within Company guidelines. Prepare sales information and materials for customers. Collaborate with development, marketing, distribution and customer service to ensure the successful coordination of customer activities.

 Qualifications:

  • Two (2) years of sales experience in the automotive tire industry required
  • Bachelor’s degree preferred
  • Outside sales experience preferred

 

Our talented sales reps have excellent written and verbal communication skills and strong analysis and judgment expertise. The ability to generate new customers and close sales is paramount. The capability to manage multiple projects and possess strong PC skills; including MSOffice. Must be willing to travel at least 35%, including some nights and weekends.

Senior FEA Tire Modeling Engineer (Suwanee, GA)

Maxxis International-USA has a challenging opportunity for a Senior FEA Engineer in our Technology Center located in Suwanee, GA.

Responsibilities:

  •       Develop in-house proprietary software for tire modeling
  •       Work with local and global FEA teams to provide support, results and analysis
  •       Develop FEA simulation for tire performance such as RR, tread wear and durability
  •       Participate and support OE development projects on a global level

 

Qualifications:

  •       Master’s degree or PhD in mechanical, civil, structural, or chemical engineering required
  •       Five (5) years of experience in FEA tire modeling and simulation required

 

The engineer needs strong analysis and judgment skills and the ability to work well in a team environment as well as demonstrating the ability to manage multiple projects.

Lab Technician (Suwanee, GA)

Maxxis International, the U.S. division of a global tire manufacturer headquartered in Suwanee, GA, has a challenging opportunity for a Tire Rubber Compound/Material Testing Lab Technician, at Maxxis Technology Center. The salary is mid $30k, commensurate with education and experience.

Responsibilities:

  • Conduct rubber compounding and tire material testing
  • Collect, enter and analyze report data
  • Perform routine equipment maintenance
  • Problem solve and effectively communicate with other employees/customers 
  • Work with Microsoft Word documents and Excel spreadsheets

 

Qualifications:

  • Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree in a technical/scientific field AND one (1) year of rubber and/or tire industry or lab experience

OR

High school diploma AND three (3) years of rubber and/or tire industry or lab experience required

  • Chemistry or polymer educational background and/or experience preferred

 

Lab Technicians must be detail oriented, organized and highly accurate, and use effective means for checking the accuracy of information. Applicants that have a good business sense, are enthusiastic and reliable and possess a strong work ethic should apply. Solid mechanical or electrical knowledge is a plus.

Accounting Associate (Suwanee, GA)

Maxxis International USA, a leader in the high-performance tire industry, has an exciting opportunity for an entry-level Accounting Associate for our Accounting Department in Suwanee, GA. Responsibilities include:

  • Updates receivables by totaling unpaid invoices
  • Verifies validity of account discrepancies by obtaining and investigating information from sales, trade promotions, customer service departments, and from customers
  • Resolves invalid or unauthorized deductions
  • Resolves collections by examining customer payment plans, payment history, credit line; coordinating contact with collections department
  • Support month end closing including prepare general entry and monthly account statement
  • Process accounting receivables and incoming payments in compliance with financial policies and procedures
  • Complete invoicing on a daily basis

Key Competencies:

Sales & Marketing Representative - Auto (Suwanee, GA)

Maxxis International USA has a challenging opportunity for a Sales & Marketing Representative to manage sponsored drivers and teams and also manage sales generated through our grassroots sponsorship program for our Automotive Tire Division located in Suwanee, Georgia.

Responsibilities:

  • Manage sponsorship program and sponsorship sales orders for the Automotive Tire Division
  • Sale and represent Maxxis products at trade shows
  • Manage support truck, including coordinating truck schedule and ensuring truck has everything needed for events
  • Prepare for and attend race events on company’s behalf
  • Assist with product promotions involving drivers
  • Assist with photo shoots and videos

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree required
  • Two (2) years of sales or marketing experience in the automotive industry required
  • Experience working with passenger/light truck tire products preferred
