MAXXIS Racer Axell Hodges

Hodges, raised in a motocross family in Southern California, initially pursued racing but gained global recognition for his freestyle tricks. Transitioning from racing to freeriding and social media, Hodges found success documenting his boundary-pushing tricks online. Collaborating with his brother, he launched the “Slayground” video series, which has amassed over 14 million views on YouTube. In 2020, Hodges realized his dream by building a 40-acre “Slayground” facility in Ramona, California, where he filmed the third installment of the series. The compound also hosted X Games competitions in 2021 and 2022, where Hodges won one gold and two silver medals.
