“Win #2 on the year!" - H. Hart

After a battle among the front three riders for the entirety of the race, HHR/Fly Racing/QuadTech’s Hunter Hart emerged victorious at Progressive GNCC Parts Unlimited Mason-Dixon, held May 30 in Mount Morris, Pennsylvania.

“Win #2 on the year! What a great weekend all around. Far better jump off the line. 4th into the woods, then I managed my way into the lead by the end of the first lap. Lost the lead around lap 3, then regained it early into lap 4 and brought her home from there! Thank you to the Good Lord above, all of the incredible fans out in the woods, and my phenomenal crew for a great weekend,” Hart said on Instagram. The Mason-Dixon win was his second of the year, and he’s currently third in points for the season.

Although the rain had stopped by race-time, showers the previous day and earlier Saturday resulted in serious mud, so Hart deployed Maxxis RAZR2 tires front and rear on his ATV. The RAZR2’s superb traction in wet conditions and angled shoulder knobs in the front for precise steering and braking helped take him first across the finish line.

Also relying on RAZR2 tires was Action Off-Road/Maxxis Tires/Lonestar Racing’s Austin Abney, whose grit and determination took him from 14th at the starting line to sixth place by the finish.

Knowing that Maxxis’ RAZR line is the one to trust for the toughest competition, both Hart and Abney have been using the RAZR in dry conditions and the RAZR Plus in sandy terrain.

GNCC Round 9 is scheduled for June 20-22 at the Snowshoe Mountain Resort in Snowshoe, West Virginia.
