Jette Wins Baie St. Paul Canada Cup

Scott-3Rox’ Cam Jette won the Canada Cup in Baie St. Paul, his first-ever victory in the event. The race was held May 25 in Quebec.

“The course in Baie St Paul is one I enjoy and it suits my style well,” said Jette in comments after the race. “After the missteps in Tremblant, I knew what I had to do differently to achieve a better result. I had a race plan and stuck to it. I was able to get the lead on the first lap and ride almost the entire race alone, and I ended up winning. This brought me great satisfaction as it was my first Canada Cup win after many years of seconds, thirds and fifths. I was fortunate as well to get the Canada Cup leader’s jersey and hopefully, I can hold onto it until the end of the series.” Jette’s teammate Marc-Antoine Nadon also did well in Baie St. Paul with a seventh-place finish.

Maxxis congratulates Cam Jette and thanks all of its riders for their fine performances.
