With Multiple Victories, Maxxis Is King at Crandon
Triumph followed triumph for Maxxis at the Championship Off-Road Polaris World Championships, where highlights included double wins for Keegan Kincaid and Jimmy Henderson. More than 60,000 fans came out to watch the two rounds, held August 28-31 in Crandon, Wisconsin.
Kincaid, who now leads the class in points, was back in his own truck at Crandon after a crash in the previous rounds, when fellow Maxxis athlete Bradley Morris lent his truck to Kincaid. “It was a great weekend in front of my hometown crowd. Two wins, two hole shots on our RAZR ATs. It feels good to be able to bounce back after the wreck we had at Bark River and extend our points lead heading into the final two rounds at Glen Helen Raceway in a few weeks,” Kincaid said.
Henderson’s victories gave added momentum to his pursuit of the series championship and also earned him the Red Bull Crandon World Championship. He made the podium in the Pro 2 vs. Pro 4 Cup race, taking third place, and was elated by the weekend’s results: “World Championship weekend did not disappoint! We started Saturday’s race from the back after a mechanical failure in Quali. But came out swinging to finish P1 for Round 13 of Champ off road. Then Sunday morning, everyone pulls the gloves off for the big show. Stalling the truck on the hole shot and taking the green in 10th place, we had our work cut out for us. But I never gave up and kept digging. As the track got chewed up and slicker, our tires really came in and we got faster and faster, taking P1 and the 2025 Pro 4 Crandon World Championship. The Cup race is always a wild ride, ripping through the Pro2 field and surviving ‘til the end. We made a great run at it but fell a little short. Still bringing home a P3 podium. I could not be more proud of this team and our partners for an amazing weekend. Now we head to the Glenn Helen finals!!”
Nick Byng clinched his Super Stock Truck championship at Crandon with a spot on the podium: “Coming into Crandon, I was first in points, and the Championship weekend would kick off with having to do a make-up round on Thursday, which I was able to take another podium I would stretch the points lead a little more. Friday night, the Maxxis Bravo AT would allow my truck to hook up all race long to secure my 12th podium of the year and basically wrap up the points championship. This makes it my third Points Championship in the super competitive Super Stock Truck class. I want to express my gratitude to Maxxis Tires for the support they have shown me over the past nine years, from on the track to off the track. Maxxis Tires has been there for my team and me. For that, I am thankful.”
Chaden Minder, who continues to lead the Pro Buggy class in points, took both the victory at Round 13 and third place in the Red Bull World Cup Championship.
Like Byng, Code St. Peter locked up a championship at Crandon, earning the Sportsman SxS title with his performance at Crandon. Thirteen-year-old St. Peter racked up seven victories and five additional spots on the podium in 2025. “This weekend was one for the books. In our rookie season of @champoffroad, we set out with one goal; go big & chase the championship. After months of early mornings, late nights, blood, sweat, tears, countless miles logged, we locked up the 2025 championship. it took an army of people who believed in this dream as much as I did. Every single person who turned a wrench, loaded up a trailer, or just reminded me to keep pushing, this championship is yours too! To make it even sweeter, we walked away from the Big House with a 1st and 2nd place finish this weekend. I’m so proud of what our team has built in just one season, and this is only the beginning!” St. Peter said on Instagram.
Fellow Maxxis athlete Bryce Carlson joined St. Peter on the podium, taking third place at both rounds. Carlson is second in Sportsman SxS points for the season.
Peyton Weisbrod staged a comeback in 570 SxS. With her vehicle repaired from a crash, she earned second place at Round 13.
Maxxis expresses its gratitude to everyone who worked so hard behind the scenes to bring this amazing racing experience to fans. Special thanks to the Flannery family for their months of hard work in making Big House Fall Crandon unforgettable. The Championship Off-Road season winds up September 26-27 at Glen Helen Raceway in San Bernardino, California.
