C.J. Greaves Wins 3 at TORC Bark River

Maxxis’ title-sponsored driver C.J. Greaves took victories at both Pro 4 races and a Pro 2 race at TORC Bark River. Rounds 13 and 14 of the TORC season were held August 15-26 in Bark River, Michigan.

Father Johnny Greaves took the holeshot in Round 13’s Pro 4 race, with fellow Maxxis driver Chad Hord in second and C.J. in third. C.J. soon took the lead and the win, with Johnny in second place.

Legendary Maxxis driver Marty Hart took the holeshot in the Pro 2 race. C.J. again gained the lead and held it through the finish line, with Hart joining him on the podium in third place.

At Round 14 the next day, Johnny and C.J. Greaves were neck and neck for much of the Pro 4 race. “At one turn before the checkered flag, [C.J.] was ready to move in for the kill,” said Johnny. “He chased me the whole race. It went all the way to the last; the crowd definitely got their money’s worth that day. It’s definitely been a great season for us, and I’ve got to give credit to the crew and the sponsors behind us. The crew’s doing an awesome job; we’ve had no failures and no issues. We rode the Razr SCR. We had one new compound that we were trying also, and that worked well. We’re really happy with what Maxxis is doing.”

Hart repeated his holeshot at the day’s Pro 2 race, with C.J. soon taking the lead. Both drivers finished on the podium, C.J. in second place and Hart in third.

Maxxis congratulates C.J. Greaves on his victories and thanks all of its drivers for their fine performance. The company looks forward to an exciting conclusion to the season at Rounds 15 and 16, scheduled for September 5-6 in Crandon, Wisconsin.
