Maxxis’ sponsored athletes proved once again that pairing RAZR and Bravo tires with talented drivers leads straight to the top of the podium. Trey Gibbs and Adrian Cenni secured wins at Rounds 7 and 8 of AMSOIL Championship Off-Road, held this past weekend at ERX Motor Park in Elk River, Minnesota.
Cenni took the Pro 4 victory on RAZR AT tires at Round 7, making his way from fourth to the lead after the restart. “We were feeling the truck, the track and everything about the day! Thanks to my team for giving me a healthy truck,” he commented later. The win was the second of the year for Cenni, who’s currently third in Pro 4 points.
With his truck equipped with Bravo AT-771 tires, Gibbs won Pro Lite Round 8 after earning second place at Round 7 a day before. “This weekend was a great one for my team. Despite starting fourth, I encountered challenges during the race, but with the support of my spotter, I managed to finish in second place. The next day, I quickly passed my competitors and secured another win. I want to thank Maxxis Tires, Steel It, Impact, VP Race Fuel, Howe Power Steering, See Devil Lights and Vision Wheels for their support,” Gibbs said.
Keegan Kincaid landed his first podium since joining Maxxis, taking second place at Round 7 on RAZR ATs. He had worked his way forward from tenth place by the finish line, and he seemed pretty happy with the performance of his Maxxis tires: “I’m excited to finally get our first podium of 2024 at ERX with Maxxis Tires. Coming from the back of the field, The RAZR AT was put to the test, giving us the grip and durability needed to secure a hard-fought second place.”

Mickey Thomas, who’s just six points from first place in series’ standings with 339, took third place at Round 8 after a challenging Round 7. “Came home with a 3rd place finish in Round 8 & the truck is feeling great. Thanks to our sponsors Mystik Lubricants and Maxxis Tires, we were hooked up all weekend,” he said on Instagram.
Despite a challenging season, Jimmy Henderson is fourth in Pro 4 points and took sixth place in both rounds at Elk River. He had the lead for the first half of Round 7 and was second for the first half of Round 8, but was plagued by mechanical issues in the second half of both races. ““We are all ready to see Maverick on top of the box and with the dedication of this team it won’t be long,” said Henderson. “We proudly thank our partners United Rentals, Maxxis Tire, Vision Wheel.”
Other athletes on Maxxis delivered great results this weekend as well, with Nick Byng, who leads the Super Stock Truck class in points, landing on the podium in third place;
Chaden Minder taking third place in Pro Buggy at Round 7 on Bravo AT-771s; and Ryker Remington earning the third-place spot in Youth SxS.
