KHS Joins Maxxis as Co-Title Sponsor of KHSMaxxis p/b JAKROO Team

KHS Bicycles is joining Maxxis as a co-title sponsor of the KHS-Maxxis presented by JAKROO cycling team.

The team can count on quality equipment as they compete this year. Maxxis will provide its championship-winning tires, and KHS Bicycles will provide custom colored Flite Team carbon frames paired with the KHS Pro full-monocoque fork.

“The iPA-Sports program is a great showcase for our Flite Team road bikes as well as the entire KHS brand,” says Wayne D., vice president of KHS. “The passion and excellence shown by the team over the last two years has encouraged KHS to take a leading role in supporting the program. We are excited to be working with both the men and women athletes of the program.”

KHS-Maxxis p/b/ JAKROO’s racing schedule will focus on USA Cycling National Racing Calendar (NRC) events as well as the USA Crits Series. The new team will continue with the proven formula that allowed them to win over 80 races in the last three seasons.

In addition to a full racing schedule, the KHSMaxxis p/b JAKROO team will participate in community events at races throughout the season. The team will take part in hospital visits, bike safety clinics, and school presentations in an effort to support race organizers and share a passion for cycling with hosting communities. “Our racing program has always been about producing well-rounded athletes that understand what it takes to be a successful athlete as well as being a positive ambassador for our sport. This is why bicycle shop visits, school assemblies, and other community events have always been an important component of our team. Two thousand fourteen will see this notion emphasized at an even higher level,” says iPASports President Paul Abrahams.

Maxxis is delighted to join with KHS in title sponsorship of this winning team. For more information on KHSMaxxis p/b JAKROO, please visit, or the Maxxis Tires Facebook page.
