Maxxis athletes took on the grueling terrain of the California 300, a premier off-road race held in Barstow, California. Organized by Unlimited Off-Road Racing, the event covered 300 miles of punishing desert terrain, with drivers navigating four laps of a 75-mile course. Known for its brutal conditions, the race tests the endurance, skill, and resilience of both vehicles and drivers, making it one of the toughest challenges in off-road racing.
Sierra Romo delivered a standout performance, securing 2nd place in the UTV Open Class and clinching the prestigious 2024 Triple Crown Championship. Romo, racing on Maxxis RAZR XT tires, showed exceptional skill throughout the race, continuing to build on her growing reputation in the sport.
Justin Wicks also took the top spot in the R400 Unlimited Class, pushing through the tough course to claim 1st place.
Code St. Peter brought home a victory in the Youth 250 class. The future of off-road racing is clearly bright for Maxxis’ young talent, as these racers continue to show their competitive edge.
In the highly competitive Trophy Spec Truck category, Maxxis athletes Trey Gibbs and Eric Hustead secured 5th and 6th place finishes.
