Maxxis Drivers Win Pro Light, Pro 2, Pro 4 at TORC Round 1

Maxxis’ sponsored drivers owned the podium at the opening rounds of TORC, taking victories across three major classes and sweeping the podium twice during the weekend. C.J. and Johnny Greaves, Chad Hord and Adrian Cenni each won races at Rounds 1 and 2 of the series, held April 5-6 in Primm, Nevada.

Cenni battled Johnny Greaves for the lead for much of the Round 1 Pro 4 race and won with a pass in the last lap. Greaves took second place and Maxxis’ sponsored driver Mark Kvamme came in third, giving Maxxis the first of two podium sweeps. Greaves and Cenni appeared on the podium again the following day, when Greaves won Round 2 and Cenni took second place.

Hord began the weekend by winning the Fastest Qualifier Award for Pro 2, and took the lead soon after the start of Round 1. He continued to hold the front position after an accident-related race delay, and topped the podium with longtime Maxxis driver Marty Hart joining him in second place.

C.J. Greaves took an early lead and held it throughout the Round 1 Pro Light race, winning decisively. He took third place the next day at Round 2, with fellow Maxxis driver Kyle Hart in second place.

Round 2 saw another Maxxis podium sweep, when C.J. Greaves made a third podium appearance as the Pro 4 winner, with Hord and Patrick Clark in second and third place.

Maxxis congratulates C.J. and Johnny Greaves, Chad Hord and Adrian Cenni on their victories and also extends its congratulations to Mark Kvamme, Marty Hart and Patrick Clark for their fine performances.
