Maxxis’ Roxxzilla Tires Win King of the Hammers

Maxxis Wins UTV Open, UTV Pro Mod and UTV Stock NA, Takes Three Second-Place Podiums

Once again, Maxxis’ Roxxzilla tires proved up to the challenge of Progressive King of the Hammers Powered by Optima Batteries (KOH) when racers on the tires dominated UTV podiums at Thursday’s race. Athletes on Roxxzillas won the UTV Open race and took first and second in UTV Stock NA as well as second place in UTV Stock. Racers on Maxxis also kept what is now a winning tradition in place when they took first and second place in KOH UTV Pro Modified for the third year in a row.

Bailey Cole won the UTV Stock NA race with Jeremy McGrath taking second place, while CJ Greaves topped the podium in UTV Open. Hunter Miller took 2nd in UTV Pro Modified, with Brock Heger in 8th place, Dustin Jones in 18th and grassroots rider Scott Lesage earning 28th place in the 121-rider race. Johnny Greaves took second place in UTV Stock.

Having taken UTV athletes to the top of KOH podiums in 2020 and 2021 as well as this year, the Roxxzilla is trusted by racers who need best-in-class performance in unforgiving, rocky desert terrain. Eight-ply-rated radial construction allows the Roxxzilla to flex while resisting punctures.

“We’re thrilled but not surprised by these results,” said Chris Meyer, senior marketing specialist at Maxxis. “When you pair elite athletes at the top of their game with a championship-winning tire such as the Roxxzilla, you’ve got a winning formula. We congratulate all of these racers on their wins and podiums, and thank them for choosing Maxxis.”
