With every athlete in the class running Maxxis Victra RC-1 tires, fans were treated to a thrilling Spec E30 race at the 2026 NASA Championships. Jack Cobetto, Robert Grace and Charles Beach took the top three spots in the class at the season-ending championships, held late last month at Florida’s Sebring International Raceway.

On Instagram, Cobetto said that his victory was hard-won: “You never know what’s going to happen in the national championship race. After getting a good start and holding the lead, the ST5 cars started to lap us, and Larry’s BRZ decided to shut off coming out of 16. I bumped him because I had nowhere to go, and @matthew.garagistic was able to make the move to pass me. He then got a little wide in 7, which allowed me to get back alongside and fight into 10. Truly enjoyed racing with Matt. What a battle.”
Cobetto, Grace and Beach weren’t the only athletes who made the podium running Victra RC-1 tires. Scott McKay earned third place in Super Touring 5, while Radulian Pop was third in Time Trial 4 and Logan Dewar was first in Time Trial Target and third in Time Trial 5.

“We’re proud that the Victra RC-1 delivers excellent dry grip, smooth breakaway, predictable limits and consistent performance for all these drivers. Drivers racing in the NASA Southeast region have also praised its performance,” said Maxxis Product Planning Specialist Walter Chen. “We congratulate Jack Cobetto on his championship and thank all of these drivers for an outstanding season of racing.”
