Mirjam Kuhn
Miri originally comes from the world of competitive cross-country racing. These days, she rides anything with two wheels – simply because she loves it. Bikepacking in particular has captured her heart: get out, start riding, be outdoors. It’s exactly her thing.

Iceland awaits!

Since 2017, they’ve been a well-oiled team: Kathi and Miri share not only a close friendship but also a deep passion for mountain biking. In 2019, the two spontaneously founded their own enduro race team – and for over two years now, they’ve also been regularly hitting the gravel roads together. Their tours have taken them across South Tyrol and even from Freiburg all the way to Barcelona. But for summer 2025, they had something truly special on their bucket list: Iceland.

On June 28, 2025, the adventure finally began! The two MAXXIS gravel athletes landed on the island of fire and ice, ready for an unforgettable bikepacking journey through volcanoes, lava fields, hot springs, and endless open landscapes. Even though some parts of the route won’t have reliable internet reception, we’ll be following their journey almost live on our @maxxisbike Instagram channel.
