MAXXIS Racer Chad Wienen

Chad Wienen, a prominent figure in ATV Motocross, hails from the quaint town of Galena, Illinois, where his journey into quad riding began alongside family and friends. At just sixteen, he dove into the world of professional racing, initially as a privateer on a Honda, supported by his father. His talent caught the eye of Rockstar Makita Suzuki, where he secured a spot, clinching third place in 2007 and overcoming a mid-season injury in 2008 to finish sixth overall.

Transitioning to Team Monster Energy Kawasaki in 2009 marked a turning point, with Wienen battling through initial challenges to claim the team’s first-ever overall win. Despite setbacks, he showcased his prowess, landing on the podium multiple times and securing victories at Red Bud and Lorretta Lynn’s with Motoworks Can-Am in 2010.

However, a back injury halted his momentum in 2011, but Wienen’s resilience shone through as he bounced back, establishing Wienen Motorsports SSi Decals Walsh Yamaha. Since then, he has dominated the scene, clinching an impressive FIVE consecutive AMA ATV MX Pro National Championships.

Now, Wienen focuses on expanding the Wienen Motorsports brand while gearing up to defend his championship title once again. Despite his journey through various quad teams, he remains a beloved figure among fans, admired for his unwavering dedication and passion for his craft.
